Door closer

• If the door closer is to be used outside, operating temperature range should be at least -20 to +40.
• Closers can be installed both on the door frame and door leaf. By changing thrust installation place, force can be increased by 10 per cent.
• When selecting the door closer, it is important to draw attention at the possibility to regulate its closing angle from 180° to 10° and closing force from 10° to 0°. Having adjusted the closer’s operation, long-term comfort exploitation is assured, door slam sound is avoided.
• When using the door closers with sliding handle, closer’s force is reduced, EN class is declined by 2 classes, so it is important to choose the appropriate closer according to EN class.
• When choosing closers of such reputable firms like ABLOY, TELESCO, GEZE it is possible to order closer with open door locking function. If needed, closer bar can be locked to capture closer bar and door stays open.
• When using hidden door closer, the door looks more aesthetically without extra parts. In public areas it is an excellent protection against acts of vandalism seeking to damage the closer.
• Door closers assigned for fire-protection doors must have a test certificate and CE marking.
